Welcome and Thank You!

If your reading this, its likely you have reached out about booking me for some sort of special moment in your life.

I just wanted to take a moment and follow up with what you can expect from this point on.

“I believe getting your portrait taken is more than just showing up on the date chosen and getting paid.

I want to be your friend first, I want to get to know you before I get all up in your face."

Retainer + Contract

If we haven't already, we will discusse all the options and plan a chat, you will pay a small retainer fee and sign a contract for photo services. As necessary as it is to have these documents, I don't want you to stress. Life happens! Keep me in the loop, if something comes up I am more than happy to work towards a solution together!

Your photog friend.

It's time to plan all the fun stuff! I will send you a few questionnaire’s to help guide you through our adventure. I am also here for you anytime, there are no silly questions. I will do my best to get back to you as quickly as possible.

What is about to go down?

A one of a kind, laid back portrait session! I start by asking a few questions about your story, your vision and anything else relevant. Then we will schedule some time together and get silly! During our session I will give you some basic tips and instructions. Once we find our groove we will roll with the flow! There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to portrait sessions. I promise to be flexible and accommodate as needed.

Where should we go? What should we do?

Based on our conversation, I will suggest some locations, some bucket list ideas, etc… Times and locations may vary based on the season and your vision. Coffee shop, brewery, ice cream and roller skates? I AM IN! Don’t be scared to throw your ideas in the mix, I am here to help bring your dream to life with ideas and inspirations. Don’t have a vision and need someone else to take the wheel? I GOT YOU!

What should I/we wear?

Deep breath, I know this can be one of the stressful parts of the process. I’ve been there. Just remember to keep it simple, and be yourself, these photos reflect you! My advice, wear outfits that compliment each other vs. wearing matching clothing. If you need me to go more in-depth on that, send me a message. You can NEVER go wrong with neutrals! Whites, creams, tans, blues, browns… Almost all colors have neutrals to them just remember to look for something more mildly hued rather than bright & bold. Like many things, patterns and flannels are better in moderation. Avoid neon / fluorescent colors. Depending on the season there are a few colors to avoid that match the scenery. For example: if we are taking photos in a field of tall, green grass - do NOT wear green. My last piece of advice: dress appropriate for the location and be prepared for unpredictable weather. If it's cold, a blanket or coat that photograph well would be the perfect add on for a session.

How and when can I expect to receive my photos?

After our session you will receive all of your photos in an online, intuitive gallery system that I use called Pixieset. From there, you will be able to view, print, favorite, and download the photos from your session. Also these galleries won’t last forever so I highly recommend downloading them to a reliable outlet as soon as possible. Standard session return is typically 3 to 4 weeks. Wedding returns are between 8 to 12 weeks. I do however, give all my clients a sneak peek of a few photos from our session as soon as possible. I am just as excited to share your gallery with you, as you are to receive it.

Please don't hesitate to reach out with any other questions!

I am here as your friend first!
