Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I find your prices?

Taking portraits is not a “one size fits all” experience. There are many variables that come into play. Simply start by sending me a message in regards to what you are looking for. Once I get some details, I will follow up with prices and packages that best suit your needs.

Do you second shoot?

Why yes, yes I do.
Even though I am an experienced lead photographer, I love meeting new people, expanding my network and learning new tricks of the trade.

What services do you offer?

As of right now, I am pretty open minded to all things photography. I currently do not, however, photograph boudoir. BUT I DO have some STELLAR referrals if needed.

What is about to go down?

A one of a kind, laid back portrait session!
I start by asking a few questions about your story, your vision and anything else relevant. Then we will schedule some time together and get silly! During our session I will give you some basic tips and instructions. Once we find our groove we will roll with the flow! There is no "one size fits all" when it comes to portrait sessions. I promise to be flexible and accommodate as needed.

Where should we shoot?

Based on our conversation, I will suggest some locations, some bucket list ideas, etc… Times and locations may vary based on the season and your vision. Coffee shop? Brewery? Ice cream and roller skates? I AM IN! Don’t be scared to throw your ideas in the mix, I am here to help bring your dream to life with ideas and inspirations. Don’t have a vision and need someone else to take the wheel? I’M IN.

How can I expect to receive my photos?

After our session you will receive all of your photos in an online, intuitive gallery system that I use called Pixieset. From there, you will be able to view, favorite, and download the photos from your session. Also these galleries won’t last forever so I highly recommend downloading them to a reliable outlet as soon as possible.

When can I expect to receive my photos?

Standard Session: 2-3 weeks
Wedding: 4-8 weeks

I do however, give all my clients a sneak peek of a few photos from our session as soon as possible. I am just as excited to share your gallery with you, as you are to receive it.

What should I/we wear?

Deep breath, I know this can be one of the stressful parts of the process. I’ve been there. Just remember to keep it simple, and be yourself, these photos reflect you! My advice, wear outfits that compliment each other vs. wearing matching clothing. If you need me to go more in-depth on that, send me a message. You can NEVER go wrong with neutrals! Whites, creams, tans, blues, browns… Almost all colors have neutrals to them just remember to look for something more mildly hued rather than bright & bold. Like many things, patterns and flannels are better in moderation. Avoid neon / fluorescent colors. Depending on the season there are a few colors to avoid that match the scenery. For example: if we are taking photos in a field of tall, green grass - do NOT wear green. My last piece of advice: dress appropriate for the location and be prepared for unpredictable weather. If it's cold, a blanket or coat that photograph well would be the perfect add on for a session.
